Full Stack Developer - Java, Springboot, API

Kforce is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong Java coding practices for mid-tier applications performing business logic and calculations. This role focuses on backend development, not UI/Front end. Responsibilities include active participation in architecture, design, and code reviews, publishing design documentation, and providing support for software releases. The developer will foster teamwork and collaboration across global development teams and business partners, contributing to business-critical, enterprise-wide applications.

Must Have

• Strong Java coding practices for mid-tier applications
• Expertise in building scalable, server-side enterprise applications
• Expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining high-volume transactional systems
• Experience in developing cloud neutral applications in AWS/Azure
• Ability to debug through legacy systems
• Experience with Mainframe applications

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technology discipline
• 7-10+ years of software development experience on business critical, enterprise wide applications
• Detail-oriented coupled with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills coupled with effective written and verbal communication skills
• Must be an organized self-starter with a collaborative work style, and the ability to multi-task
• Strong team player and collaborator
• Expertise in building scalable, server-side enterprise applications, domain logic intensive RESTful APIs
• Experience leading a team of developers
• Experience with re-platforming large applications
• Expertise in designing, developing and maintaining high-volume transactional systems
• Experience in developing cloud neutral applications in AWS/Azure
• Ability to debug through legacy systems and capture current state to aid with modernization
• Experience with Mainframe applications
• Experience leading and mentoring junior software developers
• Experience building technology solutions in the financial services industry is preferred
• Experience with Agile and Scrum Methodologies is preferred
